I kinda wish Tool ended up more like APC. Their songs flow better compared to Tool imo.

This is actually a cover of a song called “Vacant” if I recall.

Nearly every song on this album is a cover.

Yes I know, I still own that album for some reason. I prefer their debut album (HOT MAINSTREAM TAKE)

As a long time Tool fan; I’ve really gotten into Puscifer lately. I bypassed them for the longest time as I thought they were more or less Maynard’s “gag” band, and truthfully I’m not to keen on their earlier stuff as it’s pretty dance-clubby.
While it’s clear that they don’t take themselves too seriously, there are some truly amazing songs. “Conditions of My Parole” has easily become one of my favorite albums.

This is the most played song in my iTunes library by a wide margin

You’re right, though “Vacant” was never released. It was originally done by a band called Tapeworm, which was a Trent Reznor/NIN/Maynard James Keenan side project. Despite them existing for the better part of a decade and recording numerous demos they never released so much as a single song before calling it quits in 2004.

Agreed wholeheartedly on Puscifer. Conditions of My Parole and Money Shot are absolutely fantastic albums, right up there with any of MJK’s best works. Also I love the song Agostina as Maynard’s tribute to his new daughter of the same name.

We saw them live back in March (?) when they came through Rockford, Illinois for the Money Shot tour, and my wife surprised me with tickets. We both agreed on the drive home that it was easily one of, if not, the best shows we had seen in years. If you haven’t seen their cabaret-esque show live, I highly recommend it.

Love both bands. This is a great track though. One of my favorites has to be Noose.

Thanks for sharing! Never heard of them before, and now I’m going to go explore them more!
